It has definitely become a TRADITION! Closing out winter, and heralding spring, on retreat in beautiful Costa Rica. We’re thrilled to announce our dates for 2018 in plenty of time for you to catch our early-bird special and make your end-of-winter plans to join us! Curious to hear more? Check out a few comments from previous years.

We think you'll agree that our home base, Finca Luna Nueva, is extraordinary. A working farm and a living classroom, it’s equipped with hundreds of species of fruit and vegetable, as well as more than 300 medicinal plants. Our hosts have deep ties to the land and are global leaders in progressive and regenerative agricultural practices. We feel honored to share this exquisite and sacred place with you.

Each morning the land itself will inspire your yoga, as we move through an enlivening practice accompanied by a playlist of bird song and throaty frogs. A thousand shades of green create the living "walls" of your studio and super delicious air invites conscious breathing. Late afternoon brings a quieter, more introspective practice, as we integrate the day's adventures and explore the subtle realm where mind and body meet.

During this very special week, you will have an opportunity to:

RESTORE your energy, reengage with your body, and recommit to your practice.
REFRESH your senses and reconnect to Earth as you hike the pristine rainforests and bask in the hot springs fed by the Volcano Arenal.
SUSTAIN those elements of your practice that nourish your spirit and reunite you with your own basic goodness.

ALL levels of yoga experience welcome!  This retreat provides the perfect opportunity to explore and develop your own personal practice. Together we'll practice asana, pranayama, and meditation daily, go on adventures, and enjoy healing foods, locally grown (most of it right on the farm) and lovingly prepared. You'll have plenty of free time, of course, to enjoy spa treatments, handpick additional excursions, open that book you've been wanting to read, or simply unwind at Luna Nueva's beautiful, chlorine-free swimming pool and hot tub.

DON'T WAIT!  This is the retreat you've been waiting for! Space is limited, so reserve your spot now.

The Family Bungalows
Located near the pool and Jacuzzi, each one has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a lovely screened-in porch, making it an ideal choice for a group of old (or new) friends. One bedroom has a queen bed and another bedroom has two twins. The porch also has two twin beds, and its direct access to the sights and sounds of the rainforest more than make up for a little less privacy. Enjoy your tea or coffee every morning while taking in the sights and sounds of the rainforest. Three options exist for these bungalows:

Shared bedroom; shared bath: A good economical choice at $1495 per person (based on two people to a room)* We’re happy to match you up with a roommate if you wish.

Single room; shared bath:  If you need a bit more privacy, reserve a single room in the bungalow and share the bathroom and porch. Available for $1695*

Rent an entire Family Bungalow: Gather 4 or 5 people (including yourself, of course) and reserve the whole family bungalow. The most economical choice at $5100* per bungalow. (That means for a group of 4, each person would pay $1275*; for 5 people, $1020*)

The Casitas and Casa Luna
For more privacy, choose a room in Casa Luna or enjoy an individual Casita. They each have a private bathroom, a queen bed and a single bed. A wrap-around porch with hammocks at Casa Luna boasts views of the surrounding hills and mountains.

Shared bedroom with private bath: Perfect for couples or close friends, this option is available for $1745 per person (double occupancy)*.

Single bedroom with private bath: Or have the place all to yourself. Available for $1945*

*Prices are for early-bird registration paid in full by December 15. Accommodations are limited, but a $250 deposit will secure your spot. Later you can pay the balance by choosing your accommodations on pull-down menu below. The pull-down menu also gives you the option to pay for the retreat in full (deposit included), if you wish. Thank you! Questions? Email us at
